Microsoft Authenticator Setup

This KB will assist with setting up Microsoft Authenticator for MFA.

STEP 1 - Go to https://www.office.com/ from a browser and sign in with your Gaudenzia credentials.

STEP 2 – Select your profile icon in the top right corner and select Manage Account.

STEP 3 – Select the Security Info tile.

STEP 4 – Select Add sign in method and select Authenticator Application.

STEP 5 - Click Next.

STEP 6 – Click Next on the following two screens. You will then be presented with a QR code.

STEP 7 - On your phone, open Microsoft Authenticator or Install the Microsoft Authenticator app from Play Store or App Store.

STEP 8 – After the Microsoft Authenticator installation is complete, launch the app and tap the + sign in the top right corner to begin the setup process.

STEP 9 – Select Work or School Account.

STEP 10 - Scan the QR code from your login screen from STEP 6. After scanning Click Next.

STEP 11 - Click Done.
